Study
The School of Law and Social Sciences offers many programmes, including the LLB Bachelor of Laws degree which is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland.
The BA (Hons) Social Sciences programme currently has student exchange agreements with universities in the USA and Canada and with Erasmus University Rotterdam. Third year students undertake one or two semesters of exchange study. In addition, Social Sciences offer third and fourth year students the opportunity to participate in a short stay Erasmus Intensive Programme involving several European universities.
The school also offers many flexible study options, such as the Bachelor of Laws (Fast Track LLB), LLB Bachelor of Laws and Social Sciences - offered on a part time basis.
For Graduates we also have opportunities in MSc Health History, Msc Social Research, LLM (Law) and also in Fast Track LLB, mentioned above, and for 2011 we will be introducing an MSc History (Modern Scottish History) programme via distance learning.*

After your postgraduate course there are opportunities to undertake a PhD or the new Professional Doctorate.
