Borrowing AV equipment

Staff and students can borrow AV equipment from the Base. We have:

• 6 flip video recorders
• 7 digital still cameras
• 4 projectors
• 9 voice recorders

These are available for 3 day loan (72 hours) to students and staff.  They are subject to the following loan conditions: 

• you can't put a hold on these items
• you can't renew them. However, if you bring the equipment (including all packaging) to the Base, staff can renew it for you.
• Fines for late returns are 50p per hour or part of an hour, up to a limit of £11. Also, you won't be able to use library services, including renewing your books, until the fine is paid.

If we find there is a huge demand and equipment is not available, we will review these arrangements.

We also have 6 projectors and 11 webcam and speakers which are only available to staff (anyone with a staff card - this does not include researchers). 

They will be lent for 3 days and can be renewed at the desk on production of the equipment. They are not bookable at present, but this may be revised. The webcam and speakers are issued as a kit.
