Photocopying
We have upgraded the copier printers in the Saltire Centre. Photocopying is now charged to your student account in the same way as printing. Visitors to the Saltire Centre will be able to buy a photocopy card from the dispenser on level 0 and use it in the two copiers there.
- Please report faults to staff rather than try to
fix them
- None of the machines copies on to card

What are the copyright restrictions?
Any published book or journal is a copyright item and subject
to restrictions. You can see our Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) licence near the photocopiers. Please read it carefully before
doing any photocopying.
Here are a few general guidelines:
- You may make one copy of up to 5% of a book or one complete chapter.
- You may make one copy of a single article from a journal issue.
- If a journal issue is made up of only a single paper, the paper must
be treated as a whole work. You may photocopy only part of
it.
