- Start by searching our catalogue.
- If you know the author or title, search for those using the drop-down menu box; if you're looking for books on a subject, use the keyword search.
- You can find electronic books in the catalogue too, as well as on the e-books web page. You can limit your catalogue search to e-books by selecting Search only electronic books on the search screen.
- If you need help, use the catalogue’s help screens or ask at the Base. There's also a short guide to using the catalogue.

Tip - keep a record of the books you use. You have to cite them, or you risk being accused of plagiarism if you use the information. Contact the Effective Learning Service for help with citing and referencing. It is a good idea to import the references into RefWorks bibliographic management software as you find them. Ask your lecturer. See the RefWorks help sheet to learn how to do it.
