Verdict works in association with leading industry experts to produce a range of reports across a number of industry sectors. Some of the companies they are working in association with include, Reuters Health, TNS, IMS, EuroPanel, GreenPrices, McCloskey and Access Asia. You will need an Athens password. External members and mentors are not entitled to a password.
You can go to Verdict via the A-Z list of databases on the Library web pages. Move down the list and click Verdict. Enter your Athens username and password. Click Start browsing Verdict content here

icon to display a list of reports. Click the orange report title. To download the whole report click PDF format beside the Download report: prompt.
You can search the reports using the white
search our database
box in the orange toolbar at the left of the screen. Enter the search term and click
. The first set of search results will be displayed.
The system detects the type of search you want:
If your search returns an error message or no results, then modify it and try again (for example check that brackets and quotes have matching close bracket or quote, and that Boolean operators are used correctly).
At the foot of your search results, the system offers you the further option of running your search as a full text search. This will get more results but will be less precise.
Verdict will automatically display a list of your search results. To display more information about an individual report, click the title. To download the whole report click PDF format beside the Download report: prompt. This opens a new window to display the report using Acrobat reader.
Insert your pen drive.
Click the save icon on the Acrobat toolbar. Specify the destination drive and filename and click the save button again.
Click the
print icon
in the Acrobat window. Choose your printer and the number of pages you want then click
print
. Be careful! Some of these reports are very long, so think about exactly what you want to print!
Click the email icon on the Acrobat toolbar, enter the email address, then choose the option to email the report as an attachment by clicking Send copy.
Click

Help is available during your search by clicking on the
Help
button at the top right of the screen.
