LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning (previously Lynda.com) is an online video library that contains a range of engaging virtual courses taught by recognised industry experts. The courses on LinkedIn Learning cover many things, including using a wide range of software, and personal development skills like leadership and communication.

We are now able to offer the LinkedIn Learning video course library to all students and staff at GCU.

Getting Started

If you are new to LinkedIn Learning or if you do not wish to retain your previous Lynda.com learning history, please access the resource via the LinkedIn Learning entry on our Discover service.

If you were a previous user of Lynda.com and wish to retain your learning history, certificates and playlists, please contact the team at ertenq@gcu.ac.uk

Once you have logged into LinkedIn Learning you can view the How to Use LinkedIn Learning course to learn about the features available to you.

Connecting to LinkedIn

Upon logging into LinkedIn Learning you will be prompted to associate your LinkedIn account with the new LinkedIn Learning platform. This is not a required step and you do not have to associate any existing accounts or create a new one in order to access the video content on LinkedIn Learning.

Creating Learning Paths

LinkedIn Learning also gives staff members the ability to create custom Learning Paths of curated content for students. If you would like to enable this functionality in your account, please email the team at ertenq@gcu.ac.uk
