Student Funding Team

The Student Funding Team can help you with funding advice either before you start or once you are here.

To make an appointment with the Funding Team go to the Base in the Saltire Centre. Alternatively visit one of our drop in sessions in the Carnegie Suite (Saltire 1st floor):

Monday   2pm-4pm
Tuesday 11am-1pm  
Wednesday   2pm-4pm
Thursday   2pm-4pm
Friday 11am-1pm  

What we do

The team provides funding advice to students, future students, parents, graduates and professional colleagues, both within and outside the University.

We also administer funds to help with Discretionary Fund, childcare and other costs.

If you are on a course at Glasgow Caledonian and are struggling financially, contact us. We will be able to offer you information and advice.

Our services

We offer a range of services as follows:

  • Individual appointments to see a Funding Adviser, normally within 5 working days
  • Drop-in services, usually at the start of each semester. No appointment is necessary
  • E-mail enquiries to: funding@gcu.ac.uk

Our information

We offer information in a range of formats to suit your needs. We have information leaflets covering general funding advice for all groups of students, available from 'the Base' and Carnegie Suite.

Our Money website also carries this information.

Confidentiality

All students will be treated fairly, professionally and confidentially. All personal information you divulge will be handled in accordance with the University’s data protection regulations.
