Who Can Contact LDC Staff?

All students from the School of Engineering and Built Environment can contact the LDC staff.

The Learning Development Centre works with teaching staff  and ALL students  across the School of Engineering and Built Environment within Glasgow Caledonian University.

We are here to help you whether you are struggling with your academic learning or wonder how you can improve your writing or exam performance even more to get a first. The service is free and confidential.

Distance and part-time students might find our Writing Pages and email appointments particularly interesting.

If you think you are dyslexic, contact the Disability Team for assessment. LDC  is happy to provide support for your academic development, but we do not assess students.

International students and those who speak English as a Second Language can find information on EAP support at GCU here. Help for self-study can be found in our Writing and Reading pages, as well as the Speaking and Presentation section.
