The Learning Development Centre Academic Development Tutors are :

The team are experienced academic staff with specialisms in academic writing, English for Academic Purposes, working with adult returners and Community Based and Further Education.

Research

Currently members of the team are involved in various research strands. These include:

• student and staff usage of academic support
• the learning experience of mature students in Higher Education
• i-skills and its role in the curriculum
• developing support mechanisms for international students
• developing vidcasts in assisting students' learning
