Applications are invited for the post of Business Development Manager – Conference & Events within the Directorate of External & Community Relations. We are looking for a highly motivated business development individual with a flexible and professional attitude and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in Business Development or Marketing Event Management. Proven experience and success in a comparable business development role is required and experience in Event Management and or Higher Education would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be expected to achieve sales targets and build income to meet ambitious growth targets; generate partnerships with business; promote the value of the Conference and Events function internally and identify opportunities to develop the Conference and Events function both internally and externally.
