Job Family: Academic, Research and Enterprise
Department: Construction and Surveying at the School of Engineering and Built Environment
Grade: 5
Salary Scale: £25,251 - £29,249 pro rata (Point 24- 29)*
Contract: Part time - 17.5 hours per week – 3 months fixed term for one researcher

An opportunity has arisen to collaborate on the preparation of a new knowledge transfer project that will be led by Glasgow Caledonian University in collaboration with eight Scottish universities. The proposed project will focus on energy efficiency of existing buildings and integration of sustainable infrastructure (micro-renewables, transport, water, waste and ICT systems) into existing housing, health and education estates. Experienced individual will prepare a report on the policies and legislation related to the above areas, and the relevant research and practice that will support the project rationale.   The successful candidate will have good interpersonal and scientific reporting skills, and experience in research in one or more of the above areas.   The candidate should be able to work independently, but as instructed by the Director of CIC Start Online, and meet working deadlines as required.
