Glasgow School for Business and Society wishes to appoint a full time/permanent Lecturer to join our academic team at the University’s London campus. This post will be primarily located at GCU London but there will be opportunities to contribute to activities at the main Glasgow campus (an 80: 20 split is possible).
The main purpose of this role is to contribute to the School’s teaching and research activity in Fashion Marketing. This will be combined with a more general contribution to the School and the Department of Management.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have completed their PhD, or be currently registered, in Fashion Marketing or a related area and be able to demonstrate an actual or potential contribution to the research output of the School and Department. Additionally, the role requires experience of module development, delivery, assessment and quality enhancement at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The candidate should also have knowledge of current best practice/trends and marketing issues within the Fashion Marketing area and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including communication (written and verbal) and team working skills.
