Glasgow School for Business and Society wishes to appoint a full time/permanent Senior Lecturer to join our academic team at the University’s campus in London. This post will be primarily located at GCU London but there will also be opportunities to contribute to activities at the main Glasgow campus (an 80:20 split is possible).
The main purpose of the role is to provide strategic leadership in teaching and research in key areas of e-branding and e-marketing. This will be combined with more general contribution to the School and the Department of Management.
The successful candidate will have completed their PhD, or be currently registered, in Marketing/e-Marketing/e-Branding or related area and be able to demonstrate the potential to develop research and publications to make a contribution to the research output of the School and Department. The candidate will also possess technical and site development abilities relating to e-Marketing and e-Branding. Additionally, the role requires experience of module development, delivery, assessment and quality enhancement at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, effective co-ordination and management of associate tutors/PT staff along with evidence of innovation in communications/module delivery. The candidate should also have advanced knowledge of current best practice/trends and marketing issues with particular focus on e-Marketing/e-Branding strategies and technologies and the ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including communication (written and verbal) and team working skills.
