Glasgow Caledonian University is looking to appoint two 0.5FTE Lecturers in Journalism to join the Glasgow School for Business & Society on fixed term contracts up to 30 June 2013. The main purpose of the roles is to deliver teaching and learning, undertake research and to develop the international profile of the department and related programmes.

The successful candidates will hold a Masters level degree/PhD in an appropriate area and teaching qualification or occupational/professional equivalent and will have the ability to demonstrate experience of working to a professional standard in at least two of the following news media: print, radio, television, online. Additional essential criteria for these roles include flexibility and the ability to work independently and to use own initiative.
