Glasgow Caledonian University is looking to appoint a 0.5FTE Administrator to work for the Institute of Society & Social Justice Research (Centre for Research in Lifelong Learning and the Caledonian Academy).
The main purpose of the role is to undertake general administrative duties and, in particular, to assist in ensuring the effective and efficient administrative operation of the Centre for Research and Lifelong Learning and the Caledonian Academy.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of an HNC level qualification (or equivalent), be able to demonstrate relevant administrative experience, clerking meetings and competent use of various software (to include Microsoft Word suite, Excel and management information systems). We need an individual who has experience of updating web-based applications, excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work on own initiative and as a team member with strong decision making and problem solving skills.
