Oracle Database 10g: Introduction to SQL

Learn the SQL essentials using SQL Developer on Linux. This course introduces Oracle Database 10g technology and the relational database concepts and the powerful SQL programming language. This course provides the learners with the essential SQL skills of querying the database, the meta data and creating database objects. In addition, this course provides the learners with the advanced SQL skills of querying and reporting.

• Prerequisites: None
• Relevant Certification: 1Z0-047 Oracle Database SQL Expert.  This course counts towards the Hands-on course requirement for the Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certification.

Oracle Database 10g: Program with PL / SQL (Development Tools)

This course introduces students to PL/SQL and helps them to appreciate the advantages this powerful programming language. Students learn to develop stored procedures, functions, packages and database triggers. Students will also learn to manage PL/SQL program units manage dependencies, manipulate large objects, and use some of the Oracle-supplied packages.

• Prerequisites: Oracle Database 10g: Introduction to SQL
• Relevant Certification: 1Z0-147 Program with PL/SQL.  This course counts towards the Hands-on course requirement for the Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certification.

Oracle Database 10g SQL Tuning (Development Tools)

Designed to give the experienced SQL Developer or DBA a firm foundation in SQL tuning techniques.  In this course you will learn about tuning methodology as well proactive tuning and reactive tuning methods.  Delegates are introduced to the new automatic tuning mechanisms available in Oracle Database 10g.
