Virtualisation improves the efficiency and availability of IT resources and applications. It eliminates the old “one server, one application” model and runs multiple virtual machines on each physical machine. Different virtual machines can run different operating systems and multiple applications on the same physical computer.
VMware is the market leader in virtualisation.
Becoming a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) is your first step toward gaining expertise in virtual infrastructure and the industry recognition that follows. This certification is designed to teach you what you need to successfully install, manage and deploy VMware vSphere 4. A VMware authorized instructor-led course is required.
VSphere 4.0
This hands on training course explores installation, configuration and management of VMware® vSphere™, which consists of ESX™ and VMware vCenter™ Server. Upon completion of this course, you can take an examiniation to become a VMWare Certified Professional. This course is based on ESX 4.0 and VCenter Server 4.0
