Fitness to Practice

Being fit to practise means having the skills, knowledge, health and character to work safely and effectively. Fitness to Practise therefore requires all students registered on named Health, Life Sciences and Social Work programmes within the School to demonstrate sufficient good health and character.

The Fitness to Practice Policy‌ document outlines the School of Health and Life Sciences' Code of Professional Conduct and Fitness to Practise. It should be provided to students before the programme commences. Every year, students will be asked to confirm their compliance with this code.
