Podiatry

The high-quality, podiatry team at GCU is unrivalled in Scotland. The team has a broad portfolio of active research and an international reputation for research in foot and ankle biomechanics and rheumatology.

GCU is ranked in the top 20 of UK universities for allied health research (REF 2014) and our internationally-recognised researchers teach on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Students gave us a 97% satisfaction rating in the National Student Survey in 2014 (NSS 2014) and 95% of our graduates went into employment six month after graduating (NSS 2014).

My original degree is in Nursing but I'm a very different student this time- it's a case of power studying very early in the morning to be able to fit it in to family life. It has taken a while to adjust to taking in so much information and retaining it but there's a lot of help available with study techniques and staff are very approachable and seem to realise that people are juggling lives as well as studying.
