Below is a full list of available health and safety training courses:

• COSHH Assessors - Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (full day)
  
  Designed to give participants a practical overview of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations as well as providing the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct risk assessments for hazardous substances.
  
  
• COSHH Awareness - Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (half day)
  
  Developed to provide participants with a practical overview of the COSHH Regulations as well as identify, use and control hazardous substances safely.
  
  
• Display Screen Equipment Assessors
  
  Designed to give participants a practical overview of the Display Screen Equipment Regulations as well as providing the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct risk assessments for DSE users.
  
  
• Fire Safety Awareness
  
  This training is designed for fire wardens or other staff who are responsible for co-ordinating staff evacuation.
  
  
• First Aiders Training
  
  A three day course co-ordinated by BUPA, is designed to give participants a thorough grounding in both the theory and practice of first aid at work.
  
  
• First Aiders Refresher Training
  
  A two day course for qualified first aiders who need to renew their certification.
  
  
• IOSH Managing Safely
  
  This course is designed for those required to manage safely and effectively in compliance with both their organisation's policy and best practice in health and safety.
  
  
• Manual Handling Risk Assessor’s Workshop
  
  Designed to give participants a practical overview of the manual handling operation as well as providing the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct risk assessments for manual handling tasks.
  
  
• Manual Handling and Back Care Awareness
  
  This course covers the essential knowledge that is required by those employees whose duties involve Manual Handling Operations.
  
  
• Risk Assessment Workshop (Practical)
  
  A two day course designed for those responsible for employees or who are required to conduct reviews and risk assessments within the workplace.
