Sanjukta has completed her PhD in Finance and MSc in Research Methods from The Open University, UK. She has completed her BSc (Hons.) in Economics and MSc in Economics (specialization in Finance and Econometrics) from University of Calcutta, India. In her PhD she had looked into the Mergers and Acquisitions of European utility sectors. Sanjukta has previously worked as research associate in Cranfield University and The Open University. Sanjukta also received an award for her paper ‘The impact of ICT-enabled off-shoring announcements on share prices (2009)’, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, Vol. 22, Issue 3, 241-256 (co-authored with Professor Elizabeth Daniel and Dr. Devendra Kodwani). This paper has been awarded as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2010 by Emerald Publishing Group.
