Alexis has a BA (Honours) in Business Information Technology and a PGC Advanced Academic Studies. She has also achieved a PhD on the 'Strategic Role of Internet-Related Technologies in Supply Chain Networks' from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Alexis has been with Glasgow Caledonian University for six years and is currently in the Department of Management in the Caledonian Business School. She is Programme Leader for the BA (Honours) Management, Technology and Enterprise programme. She is actively involved in postgraduate and undergraduate teaching in areas such as e-business, strategic management, supply chain management and web 2.0 innovation.

Selected Consulting Projects

Leading a Greater Glasgow Articulation partnership Greater Glasgow Articulation Partnership project. The project aims to strategically develop and enhance the student transition experience for students progressing from HNDs onto the BA (Hons) Management, Technology and Enterprise degree at Caledonian Business School with he purpose of improving student achievement, progression and retention. The project involves Caledonian Business School, Glasgow College of Nautical Studies, Glasgow College of Commerce, North Glasgow College, Anniesland College, Clydebank College, Kilmarnock College, Langside College and James Watt College.
