If you are sponsored for your research studies the University will require documentary evidence regarding your funding before permitting you to register. Similarly, in the case of a self-financed student, it will be necessary for the University to receive formal confirmation of your ability to support yourself. This will normally comprise a financial guarantee on a form provided by the Student Registry but may in appropriate circumstances be a statement from a bank or building society confirming the resources available to you. Further information regarding Research Fees are available here.
