When should I arrive at the Concert Hall?

At the time shown in your invitation letter – 9.30 am for a morning ceremony and 1.45 pm for an afternoon ceremony.

What happens when I arrive at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall?

You will be directed to a table in the Exhibition Area where you will be given a ticket with your seat number.  If you have not registered 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, and not seated at least 20 minutes before the start of the ceremony, you will not be able to enter the Auditorium and receive your award.  

What if I arrive late for the ceremony?

You will not be allowed in after the ceremony has started.

What if my guests arrive late for the ceremony?

They will be allowed in at a time that will cause minimal disruption.

What if I don’t turn up for the ceremony as planned?

You will graduate in absentia. We will post your certificate to your home address by recorded delivery, approximately two weeks after the ceremonies.

If, for any reason, you are unable to attend the ceremony, please let us know, in writing (fax, email) as soon as possible.
