What if I decide to leave my programme of study early and am eligible for an exit award?

You can get your exit award at the first graduation ceremony after you request it. You still need to register and pay the graduation registration fee of £40. Contact staff in the Graduation and Awards Unit to find out more.

If I decide to transfer to another programme within GCU, without using my credits, can I graduate with the exit award?

Yes. If you are staying within GCU but not using the credits from your original programme, you can graduate.

If I have an exit award from one programme and want to transfer to another as a direct entrant, using my credits, can I graduate with my exit award and go on to my new programme?

No. If you use your credits for direct entry into another programme within GCU you cannot graduate.

What if I decide to transfer to a programme at another university, can I graduate with my exit award?

Yes. If you leave GCU and have an exit award you can graduate.
