Glasgow 2014
The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games will be the biggest sporting and cultural event Scotland has ever seen. They are taking place from 23rd July to 3rd August 2014.
Glasgow Caledonian University is backing the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, which are being held on the University’s doorstep. During the next two years GCU will be opening its facilities to visitors, athletes and organisers and scholarships will be offered to students from Commonwealth countries.
The University would also like to encourage as many of its staff and students to get as involved in the games as possible by taking up one of the 15,000 opportunities to volunteer at Glasgow 2014.
Whether as a specialised volunteer who shares their knowledge and expertise, or to learn new skills, a huge range of opportunities are available.
