What is the University VAT number?

The University VAT number is GB 596 789 450.

What is the University Charity Number?

The University Charity Number is SC 021474.

What is the Universtiy Estates Charge per square metre?

The Estates Charge is £211 per metre.

Who should I contact with queries on my account?

Any account queries may be emailed to Management Accounting at ma@gcu.ac.uk

What documentation do I require to enable an account to be set-up?

We require a copy of the Award Letter detailing terms and conditions along with a copy of the fully authorised PAF which will have been completed prior to submission/award.

How do I invoice a customer?

Please complete an Invoice request form .

Where should I send my Invoice Request form?

These should be sent to Accounts Receivable.

When is pay day?

Salaries are paid on 28th of every month unless the 28th falls on a non-working day. In such cases pay will be on the last working day prior to the 28th.

Where can I get help choosing a supplier?

Details of all University approved suppliers can be found on the Procurement Unit pages.

Should I attach anything else to an expense claim?

Yes! All expense claims must be backed-up with for example receipts or booking forms.

What mileage rate should I use for expenses?

The current milage rate is £0.45 per mile.

Who should I contact about a payment made by the university?

Accounts Payable. Contact details can be found under Accounts Payable Section.

Where can I redeem my petty cash?

To redeem your petty cash a Petty Cash Claim Form must be completed, signed by the Head of Department with all receipts attached. This should then be taken to the Base, level 0 of the Saltire Centre.

From the Treasury Management team .
