Energy Usage within the University

The following figures have been prepared from monthly meter readings and invoices and only relate to City Campus.

The 2006/7 Projected Energy is based on the past 12 month’s consumption.

During the first quarter of 2006/7 consumption of gas is down 3.38% and electricity has grown by only 0.22%.  This is against a background of cooler weather by 1.54%. (38 Degree Days).

The cost increase is due to a 138% increase in the price of electricity.
