Mail Room
The mailroom is located in X015, George Moore Building.
The mailroom handles all incoming and outgoing mail for the university.
Collection and delivery of all large items is handled by Central Stores.
Mailroom staff can be contacted on 0141 331 3781 or by email to mailroom@gcu.ac.uk. We are happy to provide advise on the most appropriate way to send your mail.
Incoming Mail
Incoming mail is sorted by department and distributed into baskets for collection or delivered to key locations within the university for collection.
Outgoing Mail
The following services are provided:
- 1-3 day delivery
- 2-3 day delivery
- Special Delivery
- Recorded Delivery
- Air Mail
- Courier Service for UK and International Delivery

Preparation of Outgoing Mail
Click here to view preferred address layout.
Please pay particular attention to the postcode being on a separate line. It is preferable that the address is typed rather than handwritten and positioned left of centre on the envelope. This will allow the mail to be processed at the sorting office by machine and is more cost effective.
Authorisation is required to send mail 1-3 day delivery (1st Class mail), Recorded Delivery and Special Delivery. To download form click here.
