Furniture
The replacement programme of standard classroom furniture
at City Campus was completed during the financial year. The furniture
selected is both hard wearing and good looking and has considerably
improved the ambience in the classrooms.
It has been well received
by staff and students and the same type of furniture has been installed
in all classrooms in the new Govan Mbeki Building. In liaison with departments,
an evaluation of laboratory furniture and staff furniture will be
carried out and unsatisfactory furniture replaced where necessary.
