Our Approach

As a University Centre we have a wider remit to undertake research, to support our students in our areas of expertise, and to offer an independent commentary on the environmental challenges of our time. We acknowledge the increasing importance of the environmental agenda and recognise that as a society we can make a difference and have a positive impact on the environment.

But environmental change needs strong political leadership, policy founded on evidential research, and responsibility of business and the public to act. These are the values we promote in our work.
