Programmes & Partnerships
The Caledonian Environment Centre manages the Remade
Scotland programme on behlaf of the Scottish Government. It has also managed the Bright New Scotland schools education
programme, in support of the Eco-Schools initiative. The Centre also supports the aims of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management in Scotland by providing resource support. Centre staff also contribute to the delivery of the MSc in Waste Management Programme.
In addition, the Centre is a a founder and member of the Scottish
waste industry partnership, Scottish Waste and Resources (formerly Eventful Scotland). The partnership provides
a forum for the waste industry through organising an annual conference. Caledonian Environment Centre
plays an active role in organising the conference. The Centre also organises its own lunchtime and one day CPD events
for its respective programmes, these are advertised in waste industry
publications and on the Eventful Scotland website.
