Paper Handouts

Paper handouts on key issues and skills in academic writing and on writing a variety of coursework types (essays, reports, annotated bibliography, reflection, posters) are also freely available on the shelves outside the Carnegie Suite on Level 1 of the Saltire Centre. These include handouts on reading and notetaking; using sources effectively; writing critically; citing and referencing and on writing essays, reports, annotated bibliography, reflection and posters - please help yourself.

Braille and large print copies are available on request.

It may be that reading a handout will be all you need, but in our experience, students often benefit from discussing their concerns with a tutor, preferably face-to-face. So, after you have looked through the handout feel free to make an appointment or contact us if you feel you need further guidance.
