The School of Engineering and Built Environment offers flexible study options, including web-based distance learning, for both work-based learning purposes and to provide supporting material for full-time and part-time students.
We have excellent links with professional bodies and develop our programmes in line with their accreditation standards, including the British Computer Society (BCS) and the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institute of Measurement & Control (InstMC).
Our undergraduate programmes are designed in partnership with industry to ensure that you develop the transferable skills needed for your future chosen career. We also have formal links with a range of partner colleges that can lead to advanced entry.
We offer a number of full-time professional postgraduate programmes and qualifications, with many of them also available on a part-time basis.
