Rohinton Emmanuel is a Reader in Sustainable Design and Construction and has over 20 years of teaching experience in Schools of Architecture and urban planning in the US, Sweden and Sri Lanka. As an Architect with urban design interests, he has pioneered the inquiry of urban climate change in tropical cities and has taught and consulted on climate, energy and environment sensitive design. His current teaching focuses on carbon management in the built environment and he leads a module in the area of carbon management.
