Research Summary
The effect of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) on freeze-thaw performance of cementitious mortars and plasters.
The research is focused on the performance of polymer modified cementitious mortars subjected to accelerated freezing and thawing conditions. Research work involves microstructural characterisation of cement mortars (Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Differential Scanning Calorimetry methods) and nano scale characterisation.
