Within the School we have three Research themes which are underpinned by an outstanding reputation for research represented by both individuals and research groups.

Within these Research Themes, we have organised the School's Research groups. They provide our academics with a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration applied to the current need for knowledge and innovation.
The themes and groups support the delivery of a world class research environment through our Research Institute, led by an elite group of academics with a proven track record for innovative and world class research within their own discipline.
