SALARY RANGE (£32,751 - £35,788)
(12 MONTHS FIXED TERM)
This post is designed to attract an outstanding early career scholar to work in the Centre for the Social History of Health and Healthcare (CSHHH) Glasgow. To be successful, you will currently have a growing reputation for excellence in both research and teaching. You will be capable of contributing to existing undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes in the history of health and medicine. Importantly, you will also have the research potential to contribute towards the research impact assessment exercise due in 2014.
The CSHHH is a research collaboration with Glasgow Caledonian University (see www.gcu.ac.uk/cshhh). Founded in 2005, the CSHHH has built a research environment and postgraduate community founded on funding from both universities and from the Wellcome Trust, the ESRC and the AHRC. The successful applicant will be embedded in this community and will also be able to draw upon the wider collaborative environment in the University of Strathclyde's School of Humanities.
