Activities Profile

The Centre for Industrial Bulk Solids Handling is a part of the School of Engineering, Science and Design which boasts a strong, experienced and enthusiastic team of engineers, scientists and technicians working on a wide range of solids handling and flow projects.

The Centre main aims are:

  1. To undertake fundamental and applied research in the areas of pneumatic conveying, solids characterisation and associated bulk solids handling technology.
  2. To provide a comprehensive consultancy service for industry.
  3. To provide high quality educational services for industry.
  4. To provide high quality intensive two and three-day short courses for industry.

The Centre has a comprehensive range of facilities to support its work.
