As a business school, we pride ourselves in our strong links with industry across Scotland, the UK and beyond. These links support both our provision of services and the development of our activities as we aim to play an important part in creating a more innovative and globally competitive industrial base in Scotland.

Links & Partnerships

Association of Business Schools (ABS) - we are a full member, have representation on their committees and actively engage with their nation-wide programmes.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) - we run the professionally accredited Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) course and have held Premier Provider status for a number of years.

Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) - we have run the CIMA accredited courses for over a decade.

Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) - the CIPDA accredit our Postgraduate Diploma and Masters in Human Resource Management. We also enjoy a close partnership with the CIPD, including hosting a joint Masterclasses and members of our staff being members on CIPD committees.

Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) - we are the lead provider of CIPFA accredited courses in the west of Scotland.

Chartered Management Institute (CMI) - we work closely with the CMI on our MBA and other programmes. We enjoy running joint programmes (such as a series of CPD courses for our alumni and CMI members), sponsoring CMI events and conferences and engaging with their programme of activities.

European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) - we joined the EFMD in November 2007. EFMD is a global organisation devoted to the continuous improvement of management development, with more than 600 member organisations across 70 countries. It is dedicated to raising the standard of management education worldwide through the prestigious EQUIS accreditation programme.

Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Centre of Excellence - We are one of only three universities outside of London to be a Securities and Investment Institute (SII) Centre of Excellence, and the first specialising in financial services operations and risk. This prestiguous recognition comes from our strong portfolio of programmes and research that is highly regarded by the financial services industry.
