Teaching

Our faculty have lived, studied and worked all over the world as board members, consultants, researchers, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs. Their experiences as global managers strengthens our provision of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Work placements

Many of our programmes incorporate not only the study of world markets, but direct experience in the form of international student exchanges or international work placements.

One example is the International Study Visit on our Caledonian MBA programme. The International Study Visit accelerates understanding of the key drivers of globalisation through, for example, hosted visits to the World Trade Organisation in Geneva and to major multi-national businesses across Europe that provide direct interaction with local managerial staff with unique perspectives on business practices.

International perspectives

We are continuing to extend our programme offerings to meet student demand for programmes with an international perspective. We have several programmes designed for the international market including BA(Hons ) International Business and the MSc International Fashion Marketing.

New international programmes are currently being developed to meet the needs of students looking to capitalize on the growth of global industry including the MSc Iinternastional Toursim Enterprise suite and the MA International Business Journalism.

In addition to our activities in Glasgow, we have developed a close partnership with the EASB Institute of Management which enables students to study on some of our programmes at EASB's Singapore campus.
