Prospective Mentors

The Caledonian Club not only aims to further develop transferable skills in its mentors such as leadership, communication and team-building but the role enables students to be an active citizen in civic engagement whilst also improving their employability skills.  The role is also linked to GCU’s Student Leadership Programme, where students develop citizenship and leadership skills by working through development to advanced levels of the programme and enhancing their CVs.

Student mentors are normally recruited in Semester 1 in a competitive recruitment process and they receive payment or academic credit for their participation.
