The Club currently offers pupils activities at three important stages in their secondary education. All activities are designed to further develop core skills, key to all post-school options. In S2/S3, the Club focuses on the links between school subjects, college and university courses as well as pathways into employment, whilst the S6 projects help pupils make informed choices about their post-school destinations. Through working with our student mentors on campus, pupils gain a realistic insight into university life.
We have launched our new S1 campus challenge and invited S1 year groups from our five secondary school to GCU throughout February 2012.

Find out more about our work with senior pupils through our S6 Professor’s Induction Challenge and Student Shadowing Experience projects. For session 2011-12 we are also piloting a new S6 Mentoring Programme thanks to GCU alumnus Alan Garrick. The programme is currently working with 50 S6 pupils applying to GCU across their final year to prepare them for the transition to HE.
