Case Study

Haghill Park Primary participated in a P6 project based on the topic of the Romans. The class participated in a pre-campus visit workshop in school where they took part in fun activities led by Caledonian Club staff and student mentors to help them prepare for a visit to Glasgow Caledonian University the following week.

On the morning of the campus visit at the university, the class took part in a drama workshop focusing on the story of Romulus and Remus and this was followed up in the afternoon to bring to life a part of the story by creating stop motion animations. The class teacher, Alan Digweed, noticed that since the project, one boy’s confidence has soared.
