Innovation Voucher Scheme
Scottish Funding Council Innovation Voucher Scheme
The Scottish Funding Council Innovation Voucher Scheme offers SMEs up to £5,000 worth of support for a business innovation project with Glasgow Caledonian University.
The programme is aimed at building relationships between SMEs and Higher Education Institutes in Scotland. The proposed collaborative project should lead to new products and processes that will benefit the business, the institution and the Scottish economy. The company contribution is expected to match the grant contribution from the Scheme either in cash or in staff time, materials or access to facilities.
Companies benefitting from Innovation Vouchers with Glasgow Caledonian University have included Macphie of Glenbervie, Q and Q foods, Cordale Property Services, Glasgow Building Preservation Trust and Bute Community Land Company. Take a look at our case studies for more information.
The SFC's Horizon Fund for Universities also offers support for knowledge exchange proposals addressing the needs of Scottish industry.
