Classroom Resources

We are responsible for the replacement and repair of audio visual related furniture and equipment located in general teaching rooms. This consists of projection screens, blackboards and dry-wipe whiteboards.

We also repair permanent classroom audio visual equipment which consists of overhead projectors, video/data LCD projectors (XGA), video monitors and permanently wired public address (pa) systems

AVS have a "no-charge" policy to all University departments and sections as regards equipment loan. There are charges for audio visual materials which are explained on request.

For external/commercial use of our facilities details of our equipment charges are as follows:

The above rates are for one day, or part of a day. The weekly rate is three times the daily rate.

Any other set-ups not listed will be quoted for individually, for example, video or audio recording, photography or special lighting.
