Developing sustainable ‘Key Performance Indicators’ to optimise healthcare facilities
This project aims to define the ‘optimum estate for healthcare facilities’. Currently the project has completed the first stage that consists of identifying the metrics and key performance indicators used by healthcare sector in English speaking counties to evaluate the performance and condition of their estate portfolio. Ultimately, the KPIs and measurement protocols will be embedded in the Building Information Management (BIM) systems in place in healthcare facilities in Scotland.
Impact: The entire estate of NHS Scotland’s assets in will befit from this project by performing more efficiently and being used in a more effective way.
