Aberlour Child Care Trust Archive
Material relating to Aberlour Orphange from 1905 through to 1974.  The collection holds some financial records (bank statements, accounts, petty cash, salaries), farm records, medical records, diet records, punishment records, registration & discharges records, subscription records and diaries/log books.

The Association of Directors of Social Work
The Association of Directors of Social Work is a constituted group of senior Social Workers who work in Scottish local government. They have come together to promote social welfare and social inclusion and the interests of those who use their services. They have established internal networks, on which all local authority Social Work Departments are represented, to disseminate research, information and best practice, discuss policy and thereon communicate their views. They also seek to enter into dialogue with their partners and provide opportunities for consultation and conference, to discuss joint concerns whilst promoting and exploring the benefits of partnership and integrated working.

Children 1st (RSSPCC) Archive (Glasgow Caledonian University)
Again also housed at Glasgow Caledonian University, this Archive contains over 20,000 case records together with associated materials detailing the activities of the Royal Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children in the west of Scotland.  The coverage is mainly for the period 1940 to 1993.

Heatherbank Museum of Social Work (Glasgow Caledonian University)
Also housed at Glasgow Caledonian University, Heatherbank Museum of Social Work is the only Museum totally dedicated to social work and welfare in Europe. 

One Parent Families Scotland Archive (Glasgow Caledonian University)
In 1940, the first conference was held in Scotland to consider those problems, primarily arising from the sharp drop in the number of available foster mothers, the closure of some homes and the increase in the number of illegitimate births.  This Archive, 9.5 metres in size, documents the story and work of this organisation, the Scottish Council for the Unmarried Mother and her Child.

Social Welfare Archives (University of Liverpool)
The University of Liverpool holds a number of collections relating to Social Work, and in particular those of child-related voluntary organisations - although it also includes the records of community projects and organisations working with the homeless.
