Lfl Engage

The LFI-Engage project aims to explore how the effectiveness of learning from incidents (LFI) can be improved in practice in organisations. The project will offer guidance to frontline managers/supervisors on understanding the current status of LFI at their site, ways to increase the effectiveness of LFI and enhancing the engagement of frontline employees. The main output will be an easy to use and practical LFI-Engage Toolkit that would help frontline managers/supervisors and those who support them to embed sense-making and reflection in their LFI process. The project is funded by Energy Institute and Shell.

• On the 21^st of June 2012 a kick-off meeting was held at Glasgow Caledonian University. The company partners, Tyne Archer (Shell) Stuart King (Energy Institute) and the GCU team, discussed the project plan and site access and formally started the project.
